The rectum of the pig is the portion of the large intestine attached to the anus. It must be separated from the anus, a portion of the large intestine and the bladder. Once separated, the excrement and excess fat must be removed.
Once the cleaning process is completed, it is frozen.
It is shipped frozen and in food grade plastic bags.
It is recommended to be kept frozen at a temperature of -18 °C
